Onlinegamer Nordic TF2 Olympic Games – ENGLISH INFO

This is the english info page for Onlinegamer Nordic TF2 Olympic Games 2010.

We only accept contestants from Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland, or other swedish/norwegian speaking people, but we can be flexible for signups by more outlandish competitors, especially if these are high skilled players, whom we adore. Any ETF2L Div 1 player is automatically welcome to the cups. Div 2 is ok too ^_^

How this works:

Onlinegamer Olympic Server Service (Marjasin) provides us with 2 fine Olympic servers which the competitors + admin and possible coverage crew connect to. The admin calls out the competitors names and they join one team each. The other competitors will wait in spectator mode for their turn. The first pair play off until the set limits, for example 5 wins, or a timelimit, whereafter the losing side leaves the server, and the winner joins spectator mode to wait for the next round. Repeat until only one player remains.

When there are 2 or more groups playing in the same cups, the final 2 or 4 rounds are played on one FINAL-server of the admins choosing.

Excluded from these workings are the bball and the spy derby.

The competitions are:

  1. 2on2 scout arena cup – first to 6 – bat/pist/scat Signup & Info
  2. 1on1 solly dm cup – first to 5 – shov/shot/rocket Signup & Info
  3. 1on1 pyro dm cup – no rules yet – axe/flare/flamer Signup & Info
  4. 2on2 demoman bball – 30 min + golden cap – all unlocks Signup & Info
  5. 1on1 heavy dm cup – first to 5 – all unlocks Signup & Info
  6. 1on1 engy dm cup – timelimit 5 + nosentry golden frag Signup & Info
  7. 1on1 medic dm cup – first to 5 – all unlocks Signup & Info
  8. 1on1 sniper dm cup – first to 5 – razor/rifle Signup & Info
  9. 9on9 spy fraghunt cup – top fragger wins, randomized teams – all unlocks Signup & Info

Contestants may only sign up for 3 events each and is to be made in the following manner: Nickname, ETF2L profile URL. Example: Fragga http://etf2l.org/forum/user/2507/
