Levla upp med demos i Alien Swarm

Valve:s gratisspel Alien Swarm röner stora framgångar. Igår tipsade Stefan oss om möjligheten att spela det i förstaperson. Nu tipsar Manta Engie oss om hur man levlar upp utan att spela.

There’s an exploit in Alien Swarm right now that allows you to easily level up using demos. The fun thing is that this is like the third time I’ve seen this bug in multiplayer in a source engine game. You just record a demo before you end a level, and if you replay it you can re-earn the XP you get at the screen. Theoretically you could earn achievements this way or use some other guy’s demo that went through insane to get a lot of XP at once. Or maybe SAM works on it too.

Fantastiskt att Valve kan få så många att göra samma sak genom att dra iväg ett lir på steam gratis.

Co-op är i alla fall ett spelsätt som jag hoppas att fler speltillverkare fokuserar på då det i dagens läge inte finns allt för många till pc.
