TCL: Intervju med Dunc

Undertecknad fick en kort stund ihop med TCM’s brittiska doktor, samt en av två huvudpersoner i organisationen av LANet. Eftersom undertecknad inte är superjournalisten körde jag med lite snabbfrågor från huvudet, och resultatet är följande(jag tar det på engelska så översättningen inte går helt åt fanders):

Interviewer: So, after the first day of gaming, how do you see on the organization of the LAN?
Dunc: WZZRD wasn’t very organized and they really should have put more time into preparing the event. There was also a lot of problems with the computers, old graphical drivers and bad hardware together with really bad standard installations made this horrible to host. Luckily, it was all sorted out in the end even though we’ve had to skip the funcups and we’re far behind schedule we haven’t had any people complaining or whining yet. (Intervjuarens anmärkan: tydligen hade inte detta ”IT-Cafe” inte steam installerat tidigare..?)

Interviewer: Has it been tough organizing the event considering you are a top player in europe, have you had to put a lot of time into the organization?
Dunc: Amonsilas (who sadly had to go home because he had to attend an audition, he’s an actor) has been the one that’s done A LOT of the organization. He’s been the contact to WZZRD, sorting schedule and so on. He also sorted a lot of the computer problems. I can only be called an organizer out of the point of view that I am now sorting out the groups, who should play where etc.

Interviewer: Who’s been the team that has surprised on you as a gamer the most?
Dunc: Definitely rockit like NeXt who I was expecting to loose hard. They actually beat TCM four out of five rounds on the middle cap in the beginning of the round (intervjuarens anmärkan: TCM vann till slut med 4-1 ändå). They also seem to have done great in the other games so I’m really surprised.

Interviewer: Which takes me onto the next point, which team has been a let-down in your point of view?
Dunc: well, I didn’t expect much of FB to begin with but their LAN-team is horrid, the mix players they brought in just doesn’t cut it and they don’t seem to enjoy their time.

Interviewer: Considering that… What do you think of the swedish players here at LAN and in general?
Dunc: Swedish players? Hmm.. I f*cking hate them. Haha, nah, they’re great. To name a few emptynoflow has been playing really good and Sommie who is a decent online-player is really awesome at LAN, I am positively surprised by his performance at LAN.

Interviewer: To end the interview, whats your predictions on top 3 teams in the tournament?
Dunc: Well, I’d be silly if I didn’t rate us first (TCM). Second I guess YoYomix, who field a lot of great players. Third would be coolmix, who has a lot of individually good players but not enough experience.
